    • co-construct each dimension and how it fits with your/their journey and needs.
    • seek to reflect on how you/they are tracking through these dimensions
    • provide support and challenge to develop further with your/their practice.
    • focus on staff living your vision and values through a reflective process that meets the point of needs for the staff and personalises it to their experience and needs.

Team Development

How might we support leaders to understand the thinking preferences of their staff/teams and grow capacity.

We will use the HBDI (Hermanns Brain Dominance Instrument) tool that allows you to understand the thinking preferences of yourself and your team members. This will
  • support you in understanding how you prefer to work and what impact stress may have on the way you work.
  • identify areas in which you show strength and also areas you need to be aware you may neglect.
  • challenge you to understand your impact on the others that you work with.
  • support you to understand the way others work and to get the most out of teams.

This process moves towards creating team agreements that allow you to hold yourself and others to account in how you might work best as a team

Visioning and Strategic Action

How might we support leaders to support the why and how of designing a powerful learning vision for their school?
We will challenge you to:
  • create a learning vision that supports the needs of your tamariki and community with a future focused lens.
  • work with key stakeholders to gain insight into the learning vision and co-construct the values and beliefs that sit behind it
  • identify the principles that underpin it.
The vision can then guide the pathway forward for a school with a strong sense of ownership. We will support you to from Vision to Taking Strategic Action by:

  • establishing medium and short-term goals
  • agreeing on medium and short-term initiatives/actions
  • moveexploring a rapid action plan model that drives towards goal achievement
